A new service is offering data-driver hosting reviews which can actually be trusted

There is a large number of websites and publications which claim to offer unbiased and truthful hosting reviews.

While most of them are run by spammers trying to cash in on affiliate programs, there are some which are actually serious about reviewing and testing website hosting services.
A recently launched NCM Online service claims to be the new leader in the area of publications of objective and unbiased hosting reviews.  NCM Online has already published 2014 best cheap hosting reviewsregarding the top 20 leading web hosting services. So far, there is nothing surprising about this, but the new service actually purchases and tests all the hosting services before publishing its reviews of the quality  and gives its view on the reputation of a particular web hosting service.

This is quite different from the majority of web hosting reviews which we stumble upon often, and which are clearly biased and usually rank those web hosting services which offer bigger affiliate commissions rather than based on the actual quality of the services which they provide.
The hosting reviews by NCM Online include opinions about the renewal rates, the page-load speeds, the uptime test charts, the WordPress tutorials, ratings by the Better Business Bureau, and a lot of other information.
Even though NCM Online is an affiliate site too, it does use the Dotcom Monitor services, which tests page load speed and uptime percentage averages for periods of 10 days. Then the test data and results are recorded in 13 different locations worldwide, and are made available to internet users in easy to interpret tables and charts.
NCM Online provides price comparisons as well  but based on the renewal rates of the website hosting services, unlike other review websites.  The reasoning behind this is the fact that while the majority of web hosting services offer initial discounts for new users, at some point of time, these users will need to face the actual renewal rates.  And in many cases, the hosting services try to conceal the actual renewal rates it will charge its future users.
The idea of the people behind NCM Online is to publish hosting reviews which are based on data rather than on the personal opinions of the reviewers.  In fact, they claim that 80% of the criteria used for the reviews is based on actual data and only 20% is a matter of personal opinion of the reviewer.
The actual results published on this new site are quite intriguing, and the web hosting services which have the most transparent cost policy, an affordable renewal price and a high technical standard are ranked at the top.

The latest developments in the optical transmitter technologies have been presented at ANGA

A couple of weeks ago at the annual Trade Fair for technologies and solutions for Cable, Broadband and Satellite providers and services ANGA COM 2014 held in Cologne, Germany the Arris Group Company introduced its latest optical transmitter solutions for improving fibre connectivity at a lower cost and with reduced need for space and complexity of use for the global providers.
The Arris CHP CORWave 3 is a modern, high-density optical transmitter with 1.2GHz multi-wavelength analogue and digital transmitter allowing for up to twenty transmitters in just  2-RU of space.  This new technology by Arris Group will allow for headend density and better power efficiency.
Another new technology, the Arris Ultra Compact 200 Optical Node and Amplifier allows for fibre deep migration for HFC equipment for outdoors, and for a simplified bandwidth expansion, maintenance, upgrades, repair and logistics.
The Arris Opti Max OM2741 presented in Cologne has an option of switchable segmentation which will allow for the reduction of OPEX, a simplification of the complexity and better investment for global providers when expanding their networks.

And for the overall improvement of network reliability, Arris Group presented its Arris CHP Quad Return Path Receiver which is a Quad receiver with a high density 300MHz return path which allows for the input of 40 receivers in just 2-RU and with very low and efficient power consumption too.
As a whole, the Company has improved its optical transmitter technologies and other service provider solutions in order to improve the investment results of the providers by using lesser space for expanding their capacity and bandwidth at a lower overall cost.
In the modern world, where the connectivity service providers are working to expanding the number and quality of services which they provide for their subscribers, it is no surprise that working on improved optical transmitter technologies, higher density and higher efficient fibre deep products and solution are becoming ever so crucial and preferred.
The Arris Group is a leading innovator and manufacturer in the field of IP, broadband and video technologies. Established more than 60 years ago, the Company is working continuously to improve the networking solutions offered globally, and to improve the communications and entertainment services provided to subscribers worldwide.

The fusion splicer is now becoming essential for the production of advanced medical and scientific equipment

One of the best recognized brands in the area of fusion splicing equipment and fibre optic cables is Fujikura.  Just recently, Fujikura Europe introduced its enhanced technologies for use in the biomedical and scientific research spheres.
Actually, the fusion splicer equipment is used not only for telecommunications, data communication and in some industries such as automobile makers or oil producers, but in the scientific and medical fields as well.  With the overall advance of laser technology, its use for medical purposes is growing. One such medical technology is the optical coherence tomography (OCT) which is highly efficient for diagnosing cardiovascular and coronary disease.  It is used to better view any tightening of the coronary arteries and to diagnose and treat such dangerous conditions, which could lead to heart attacks or strokes.
Fujikura Europe offers its high precision fusion splicer equipment and optical cables, as well as complete engineering and service of its use for medical and scientific work.

Quite a bit of the terminal processing of optical fibres in the field of biomedicine and science are enabled via the fusion splicer equipment offered by Fujikura, including the high precision cutting, stripping and splicing of the optical cables necessary for making these advanced technologies which can save lives.
One such optical coherence tomography imaging system named Ilumien Optis and produced by St. Jude Medical has been launched in Japan.  The OCT equipment enables the physicians to make more precise decisions for the exact placement of stents in the coronary artery of a patient, which allows for improved and free blood flow through a narrowed blood vessel.
The OCT equipment produced my medical equipment giant St. Jude medical combines an intravascular OCT imaging system with a fractional flow reserve.   This allows physicians to be more precise when diagnosing a narrowing of the coronary artery and to provide more successful treatment of the affected spot.
The fractional flow reserve platform allows for a detailed analysis of the blockages in the blood vessels, and locating those which are causing ineffective blood flow.
The fusion splicer is used in the production of this advanced medical tool for ensuring the precise fusion of the near infrared light optical cables used to measure the characteristics of a blood vessel, which would otherwise be very difficult or impossible to do.
With the advancement of the use of lasers and infrared light, hopefully the timely diagnosis and proper treatment of the life threatening tightening of the arteries will become a fact in the near future.
